The New York Times has selected an amazing collection of photos from 2016.
When you arrive at the site, you’ll see there is a brief year in review statement and then you can scroll down to the images. That’s all you have to do to navigate too – just scroll down. If you fancy looking at them a month at a time, once you’ve scrolled past the statement a menu appears at the top of the page that allows you to select a month.
I will offer a warning some of the images depict graphic violence, so you might not want to look through these if there are children around or you are put off by blood.
With that said, you’ll find a collection of images from all over the world. I particularly enjoyed the photographs from Cuba in January and Rio de Janeiro in August. My favorite photograph is from November and shows sheep dogs herding sheep into the shearing pen.
