How do I get my computer clock to display 24- hour time rather than 12-hour AM and PM?
I know we have many readers in Europe and I’m sure there’s a few in the military or who just prefer going to bed at 22 o’clock every night. Well, this tip is for you.
First go to Start/Control Panel and look for “Date, Time, language & Regional Options” (make sure you are in Category View).
Next select “Change the format of numbers, dates, and times”.
Under the “Regional Options” tab hit the “Customize Button” then the “time” tab.
Under “Time format” just change the lower case “h” to a double upper-case “HH” then “Apply” or OK.
And, of course, if you have a computer that you don’t want in 24-hour time, just change the time to lower-case h.
