I have always had a strong connection to abandoned buildings. They make my imagination click into overdrive. I wonder how they’ve come to be abandoned, who lived, worked, laughed, loved, cried and even died there. If you ask me, buildings have a story all their own to tell.
So, you can guess that I was overjoyed when I found this site. The site is a gallery of photos of abandoned places. Places that are made of cement, metal and certainly filled with dust.
At first, it looks like all you get are the images on the main page, but once you choose a thumbnail, you get to really explore the structure through many photographs of the location. Once you’ve gotten started, if you want an uninterrupted journey, just continue clicking the photograph to be taken to the next one.
You will also find navigation at the top. You can choose the photographs by number or return to the Preview screen. From the Preview screen, you’ll find a link back to the main page so that you can choose a different abandoned place to check out.
To learn more about the photographer and Webmaster, head to the About section. To see who influenced him in this genre, check out the Thanks section.
Are you ready to go explore abandoned places and let your imagination run wild? It’s worth the journey, I promise!
