Adobe Reader 8.1
Lately, it seems as if a lot of the programs we all love and use on a regular basis have been releasing updates left and right. And because of that, our Quick Tip section of the newsletter has been taken over by all of those. Well, today is no exception! It’s my job to bring you the news of the computer world and this one’s just too good to pass up. I know a lot of you use Adobe Reader, so I think you’ll really enjoy what I have for you today. Keep reading for all the important details!
First of all, Adobe has released a new version of their popular Reader program and it is entitled Adobe Reader 8.1. It’s a step up from version 8, which was released in the beginning months of 2007. Now, lucky for all of us, this new update fixes a lot of the issues that started popping up in the previous version. Adobe Reader 8.1 also comes with extra support for Windows Vista, so if you’re a Vista user and you’ve been missing this program, you can now start using it again with no trouble whatsoever!
Along with all of that, a lot of other bugs in the program have been fixed as well. The complete list is actually pretty long and I can’t go through all of them in the space I have, but you can see an explanation for them on this Web site. Just scroll down a little bit and look for the title of “Issues addressed by the Acrobat 8.1 update.” Then when you’re ready, you can go ahead and download Adobe Reader 8.1 for yourself right here. Are you ready for a new Adobe Reader experience? If so, get your copy today!
