Align It Your Way
Think about the MS Excel files you have and the way the data is placed in the cells.
Ever find yourself sitting back thinking “That spacing looks all funny”?
Yeah, me too.
I just can’t stand it when titles look strange or when I have some large amounts of text in some cells and small data in others on the same line. I mean, the small data just gets “lost” next to the huge cell with all the text.
What to do, what to do?
Change the cell alignment, of course.
Yep, you read it correctly. The solution to your “funny looking” problem could be as easy as a quick alignment adjustment.
That is, to change the placement of the data within the cell.
In addition to the usual left, right, centered and justified alignment, you can choose to have data aligned to the top, bottom, center or justified between the top and bottom of the cell.
In other words, pretty much anyway you want it you can have it—you’ve just got to know where to look.
