Always Show Menus in Windows 7

A feature I miss in Windows 7 that was in previous versions was the menu with “File, Edit, View, etc.” menu that hung around up at the top of each explorer window. I guess Microsoft didn’t want us to use it anymore.

Well, too bad, because today we’re bringin’ it back!

Just click Start, and in the Search Box type “ Folder Options”. Make sure you’re under the View tab, and under the Advanced Settings area, check “Always show Menus”. Click OK.



Now whenever you’re messin’ around in Windows Explorer you’ll notice it’s gone from this:
