Sometimes when I’m researching web sites to share with you, I’ll just look up a word in Google and see what comes up. That’s how I found this site. I typed in the words chom chom which among my circle of friends is used like om nom nom which to them refers to eating. So, holy cow, was I surprised when I found out that chom chom is a fruit! The rambutan fruit to be specific, so I started looking for pictures of it and found this blog! While the photo at the end of the chom chom/rambutan is fantastic, I was really blown away by the experience the author was sharing.
So what you’ll find are photos and stories about the author’s trip to Tra Vinh in Vietnam. The photos are amazing, and are of things that most people don’t get to see, thus I’m sharing them with you.
To navigate the page, just scroll down. You can read the text on the page to find out about the trip, or you can just scroll down and look through the images. At the very end you’ll find the photo of the chom chom.
If you liked this set of images and the travel stories that went with them, then you can explore more locations with the links at the bottom of the page. I definitely recommend checking out the Seeing What the Buddha Sees in Ninh Binh, Vietnam – I loved that photo set. The dragon going down the step and the views looking down on everything are just amazing.
I love when I stumble onto something this cool! Check it out today!
