Apple is making some big changes to its messaging app with the release of iOS 10 this fall. Let’s check out some of the changes. A lot of them remind me a bit of the Facebook Messenger App, but there are a few nifty things you won’t see anywhere else.
One of the coolest new features the ability to send a message in your own handwriting. You’ll be able to draw on the screen and the recipient will see it write across the screen just like they were watching you write on a piece of paper.
You can also add full-screen animation to messages.
There will also be options for customizing message bubbles.
There will now be six quick responses to choose from to reply to a message.
You’ll now be able to personalize photos and videos with stickers and even draw over them.
The invisible ink feature lets you send a message that remains hidden until it swiped across.
If you’re a fan of stickers, you’ll have a whole lot to choose from.
One feature I would have never thought to ask for it the ability to replace words with emojis.
Aside from the fun stuff, you’ll also now be able to access apps in iMessage without having to leave the program. Again, another way in which iMessage will now be similar to Facebook Messenger.
The new iMessage features will be available this fall with the release of iOS 10.
