Tons of people all around the world make New Year’s resolutions every year but only a very small percentage actually end up keeping them for a substantial period of time. It has almost become status quo to assume that New Year’s resolutions are meant to be broken. However, it doesn’t have to be so.

Human helps you get fit
The American Heart Association suggests that every adult should indulge in at least 30 minutes of physical activity everyday to ensure that they stay physically fit and avoid the risk of heart diseases. Human is a wonderful app that tracks all of your activities all day long and lets you see whether you are meeting this goal.
Human aims to ensure that you are indulging in some sort of physical activity for at least 30 minutes daily. It tracks activities like walking, running, jogging and cycling to calculate whether you have met the daily goal. Heck, even if you spend a night out dancing, it calculates that as well.
This app is heaven sent for those of us who are restricted to busy desk jobs that do not allow us much of an opportunity for paying adequate attention to our health. Human not only keeps track of our physical movements, it also motivates us by gently nudging us when we are falling short.
The app also lets you see how other people in your city are doing and allows you to compare your activity level with them. Since it tracks users using the phone’s sensors and locational tracking abilities, you can even see people moving in real time.
Human encourages you to go further when you reach certain milestones and rise in rankings in comparison to others around you. This healthy bit of competition surely does wonders in motivating you to do even more. All in all, a very handy app for those who want to get fit but do not have the time to go to a gym.
