I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving (well, those who celebrated it yesterday :-) Anyhow, I thought I'd kick off the holiday shopping season with the offer below. We were told at one time that these were no longer going to be available, but I was able to find some more. So, if you want 'em, grab 'em! Watch Your Weight! OK, let's face it. Most of us probably pigged out yesterday. And now we're gonna try to lose a little of that between now and Christmas (when we pig out again). The good news is that I was able to get some software to help. What kind of software? Weight Watchers Light & Tasty Deluxe! This cookbook features over 2200 recipes, a nutritional / calorie calculator, a shopping list creator, cooking tips, even video help. As if that wasn't enough, you can add your own recipes, scale recipes for 1 to 99 people, and much more. We don't have a ton of these, so if you're interested, act now. They are only $12.97 and the shipping is free if you live in the US. Here's the link for more info: http://www.worldstart.com/store/lightandtastydeluxe.htm Enjoy the newsletter :-)
Q: A: Anyhow, to increase or decrease your font size in either Internet Explorer or Outlook Express, just hit the View menu, Text Size. The procedure is usually similar for other e-mail clients and web browsers.
As they say there's more than one way to skin a cat. The same is true with enlarging font sizes (and you'll be happy to know it's not nearly as disgusting as that cat skinning thing mentioned above). Anyhow, if you have one of those handy little wheel mice, you should be able to hold down your CTRL key and scroll to adjust font size. Is that cool or what?
Folder Views Web Link - http://www.worldstart.com/tips/folderviews.htm Ever notice that it seems like some folders are shown with big icons, some are shown as a list, and some are listed with file information? Want to set all your folders to view the same way? Here's how: 1. Open the My Computer icon on your desktop (or in Windows XP, from your Start menu). 2. Using the View menu, set the folder to the way you want all your folders to be. For example, if you're like me, you want to see all file info. So, I selected the View menu, Details.
Next, set your icon arrangement. Using the View menu, click the Arrange Icons item and select your favorite sort order. I personally prefer "By Type".
3. OK, now make all your little folders act the same way. Click the View menu (or Tools menu, depending on your version of Windows) and select Folder Options. Click the View tab and click the "Like Current Folder" or "Apply to all folders" button. It will ask you for confirmation, press yes. Finally, press the OK button and you're all set.
To give it a test
run, open any folder on your C: drive, it should look exactly the way
you want it to.
