Q: An
error has occurred in the script on this page A: Usually when I get an error like that, I simply mumble something nasty about people who don't test their web pages. Then I choose the "no" button, sit back, and watch what happens. Sometimes you can still use the page, other times you can't. You might try hitting the "Refresh" button on your browser too. Sometimes the page doesn't download correctly and that can cause a good script to go bad. If you do stumble on a site that generates the error, you may want to try to tell the webmaster of that site about the problem.
Cleaner E-mail Forwards Web link - http://www.worldstart.com/guides/emailclean.htm Back by popular demand! Don't those little carets ( the ">>>" things) on forwarded & replied to e-mails drive you nuts? You can set most e-mail clients NOT to put those in if you like. This way, at least the mail you forward / reply to will be easier to read. Oh, be sure to check out the free program below too (it cleans up messy e-mails). Most e-mail clients let you set this preference through an Options or Preferences area. I'll show you how to adjust this setting with Outlook Express, since that's the e-mail client most of our readers use: 1. Click the Tools
menu, Options.
Under that category, click the Plain Text Settings or HTML settings and deselect the checkbox that adjusts the indenting of messages / original messages. (note that on newer versions of OE that you only need to adjust the Plain Text settings, and this already may be shut off by default).
What do you do if someone has sent you a piece of e-mail that is filled with those carets? Tell them about this tip and clean up the message with a free little utility called The Cleaner. To use it, just copy the area of the e-mail that you would like to be able to read better and paste it into this program. Hit the "Clean" button and that's it. All the carets are removed. If you would like to download it, head to: http://www.worldstart.com/cleaner.htm
Have you been thinking about putting yourself up for sale lately? Ever wonder how much money you could get on the open human market? Well at HumanForSale.com you can find out. Fill out the questionnaire honestly, and they will put a price tag on your worth on the human market. It is based on four areas: physical, mental, lifestyle, and personality. You can also see a list of the highest valued humans who have taken it too. Enjoy!
Do you have a cool site that you want to share? Send it to Amanda! Here's her address: Oh, and we're looking
for non-commercial sites. We generally don't run sites that are strictly
for shopping.
