Due to the Memorial Day Weekend, there won't be any newsletters from us on Monday or Tuesday next week. Monday due to the holiday, Tuesday due to all the mail you and I will have to sort through from the weekend! So, see ya next Wednesday! Message Board Thanks to everyone who stopped by the message board yesterday. We had hundreds of new users sign up (as of this writing, over 700 of you already). I hope everyone is finding it helpful :-) If you want to check it out, head to: http://www.worldstart.com/message-board/ctmb.htm Of course, thanks to everyone who helps out. We all appreciate your knowledge and assistance. Click Art 360,000 Wow, this went over huge yesterday. We're starting to run low and it may be awhile before we get more of this awesome title in. Again, this one has over 360,000 pieces of clip art media (drawings, clip art, photos, fonts, sounds, etc). In addition, it has a clip art editor, a photo organizer, and some basic desktop publishing software. This is only $24.97, and shipping is FREE if you live in the US! The retail on this is $69.95, so you're getting an incredible value. Check it out at: http://www.worldstart.com/store/clickart360.htm And thanks to the hundreds who have already ordered :-) We appreciate our business. PC Stitch WOW! This is still selling
fast through our online store. We know it would be popular, but, wow.
We weren't even sure if we would have enough to put in a reminder today! This is the current version of the software and is really easy to use. You can buy it anywhere else for $39.95 - $49.95. From us? Just $24.97, and US shipping is FREE! For all the details, head to: http://www.worldstart.com/store/pcstitch6.htm But don't wait too long - not sure how many more of these I can scrape up!!
Q: A: Note that the procedure is only slightly different on computers using older RAM (72 pin EDO type). Usually these machines are 233 MHz or less. 1. Check the manual that came with your computer to find out how much memory your particular machine can upgrade to. It won't do any good to buy a gigabyte of RAM and then find out that your computer will only upgrade to 512 megabytes. If you don't have
your manual or you've lost it (like me, I lose everything but weight)
do a search on the Internet. You can get the specifics for any computer
through the computer manufacturer's web site. Take off the case cover (This is another area where your computer's instruction manual would help. Note that the cover should come off easily. If you're stuck and find yourself thinking about using a hammer to remove it, you may be doing it wrong.) If you don't have any open memory slots in your computer you'll need to remove an old chip before you install a new one. To do so, just push the clamps off memory chip that is in there, (the chip will almost fall out in your hand.)
3. Now we install the new one. Hold chip by the two side edges and line up notches. The chip will only go in one way because of these notches.

Using A Word Processor To Get Rid Of Forward Brackets Do you ever get an e-mail forwarded to you which has all
those annoying >> marks in front of each line? There's an easy way
to eliminate these marks when you copy the message to a word processor
such as Microsoft's WordPad (which comes with all Windows versions). Following
is a partial e-mail message which was forwarded to me: > > > > > >As he pounded the last staples in and gathered tools to go, > >The temperature had fallen, the wind and snow began to blow. > > > >When he finally reached his pickup, he felt a heavy heart. > > >From the sound of that ignition, he knew it wouldn't start. > > Copy this mess into WordPad (Found under the Start button, Program Files, Accessories) and press the "Ctrl" + "H" keys on your keyboard to bring up the REPLACE box. (This is a shortcut to the Replace option found in the Edit menu.) In the "Find What" box, put > (found on the key above the period) and check the Match Case box. Leave the "Replace With" box empty.
Then select Replace All. All the ">>" marks will be gone! Hit Cancel to close the REPLACE box and continue editing the document. ~ Jim Christoffersen Want to write for us too? Head to: Have

Need a winter respite from the heat? Miss that special time of the year of gingerbread cookies and peppermint candy canes? If so, this is the game for you. As addicting as Spore Cubes, we bring you Santa Balls. You switch the candies and cookies to make rows, and score points by getting three in a row. Oliver the Elf keeps track of the points and will juggle the pieces if you need a helping hand. Enjoy! http://www.afunzone.com/kewel/santaballs.htm Do you have a cool site that you want to share? Send it to Amanda!! Here's the address: Oh, and we're looking
for non-commercial sites. We generally don't run sites that are strictly
for shopping. |
