Nearly $80.00 Of Games For Only $14.97!!!!!!!!!!!!

You'll Love This!

We have an awesome software combo this week! Get BOTH Scrabble and Boggle for only $14.97! Don't like one or the other? Give the extra to a friend!

Scrabble -

This one sells like crazy. We have sold nearly 1000 of these through our online store since we first started offering them. To quote one of the ladies who works for us, "That thing is just awesome - need me to test it some more?" She (and several others of our staff) have been playing it ever since.

Based on what I've seen, this thing is not only awesome but also very addicting! Anyhow, here's the description:

It's Scrabble like you've never played it before!

America's favorite word game goes digital! Put your tiles to the test against Maven, the games challenging artificial intelligence, or play friends directly over the Internet with complete dictionaries and full challenge capability. Once you lay down a word your tiles turn to gold! Make a mistake and it crumbles to dust and blows away! The pull-down menus provide word definitions, champion hints, and more.

Boggle -

OK, we don't have as much experience with this title, but just a brief test turned into over an hour of, err, product research.

It's a ton of fun and one you'll want to add to your collection. Take a look at the description:

Boggle Your Brain with 5 Different Games

Boggle, one of the world's most popular word games, is brought to life in this exciting new CD-ROM version from Hasbro Interactive. Boggle CD-ROM has five distinct game play variations that take advantage of all the exciting capabilities of multi-media and raise the game of Boggle to whole new levels of fun.

Classic Boggle - Create words while the clock ticks down!
Breakaway Boggle - The multi-dimensional game of word play!
Battle Boggle - A two player war of words against the clock!
Space Boggle - an intergalactic Boggle battle!
In Your Face Boggle - Look deep into the well of letters - see what words you can find!

Both titles retail for 39.95, so the combined on value of this deal is almost $80.00! Your price for both is only $14.97, and yes, US Shipping is FREE!

PS - Note that we don't have a ton of these, so if you're interested get to the site now! OK, I warned ya, so no hate mails if you miss out :-)

Computers 101

Q:
I have an A: drive and a C: drive. Why don’t I have a B: drive? Did the programmers at Microsoft skip kindergarten?

A:
Ah, don’t fear, those MS programmers had a full education. The B: drive used to be (and still is I guess) reserved for a 5 1/4 inch floppy drive. You remember ‘em... They were the huge, bendy disks that didn’t hold much and were made of a cardboard plasticy material.

Fortunately for us, they have gone the way of the 286, but their drive designation lives on – you know, just in case they make a comeback some day (maybe Elvis will bring them with him when he returns along with a handful of Beta video cassettes).

If you really must have a B: drive, you can always add a second 3.5 floppy drive to the mix. Now, I have no idea why you would actually want to do such a thing, but you can if you want.

Oh, and before you ask, no you normally can’t assign a CD, Zip, or hard drive with a “B” designation - unless you have a very cool BIOS that let’s you do that type of trick.

Tip of the Day

XP Clock Trick

If you are running Windows XP, you'll never have to worry about manually setting your computer's clock again!

Just double-click the little clock in the System Tray and it will bring up the Time and Date Properties screen. Click the Internet Time tab and you'll see the Update Now button that lets you instantly synchronize your clock with one on the internet. Click Update Now, then OK. Of course, you have to be online for this little trick to work.

Also, you'll notice that there's a check box on that screen that says "Automatically synchronize with an internet time server." If you uncheck that box, you won't be able to do a manual synchronization as described above. However with this feature enabled, not only can you do our little trick, but your computer will automatically update its time once a week - all by itself.

Of course, you need to be online when it's time for the synchronization in order for this to work.

Anyhow, no matter how it gets updated, manually or automatically, it's still a handy way to keep your computer's clock right on time.
