Did You Get Yours? We still have some
of the Gizmos Mega Pak left (not a ton though). As I mentioned the other
day, this is probably one of the best software packages I've ever seen
and I wish there was a better way for me to emphasize what a terrific,
and useful, software package this is. After only a week, I would be lost
without it! And I'm not the only one who thinks so:
(NOTE - The tip below is mainly for Win ME & XP. Also note that depending on your mouse / mouse driver, this tip may or may not work for you). Q: A: Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, then double-click on Mouse. (XP Users: Start / Control Panel / Printers & Other Hardware / Mouse.) On the Mouse Properties window, click on the Pointer Options tab and you will see where it says Hide Pointer While Typing (again, note that not all systems have this feature). Click a checkmark in the box. Click Apply, then OK and your on the way to less distracting typing!

a question for the newsletter? Submit it at the link below: More Double Clicking Ease Last Tuesday (July 30, 2002), we ran a 101 tip that detailed how to use Single-Click + Enter in exchange for a double-click. Well, wouldn't you know there's another way. Thanks to reader Patti Brown who sent us this idea... So, are you tired of double clicking? Frustrated with not being able to double-click fast enough? Wish you could cut out that second click? Well, you’re in luck, There is a way! Our first stop is the Control Panel, which is where you control almost everything about your computer. Go to Start / Settings / Control Panel. With your Control Panel open, look for the Folder Options icon and double-click on it (this will be the last time you have to double click). The Folder Options box will open. Now, look at the last section on the bottom called ‘Click Items as Follows.’ Here you have two
options; ‘single click to open an item’ or ‘double click
to open an item’. Select ‘single click to open an
item’ and click Apply, then OK. Congratulations! You are now an ex-double-clicker. But remember that as double clicking is replaced with single clicking, single clicking is going to be replaced with just setting your mouse pointer over the item. Have fun! --Patti Brown Have

Are you ready to picture yourself as a plastic Lego Man or Woman? You start out with a plain Lego man or woman and then select different parts and traits to create yourself as a Lego person. There is even a child safe area, where your children can create themselves as Lego children. Have fun and get creative! http://www.reasonablyclever.com/ Do
