Moused Out - Sorry I severely underestimated what kind of response we were going to have to our Optical Mouse offer yesterday. I thought we had enough but we ended up selling out around 2:30 EST. So, I've been hunting around for more and I think I may be able to get them in a week or two. I'll keep you posted. In the mean time, I apologize for not having enough. I know our ads always warn you that quantities are limited, but I do try to have enough stock whenever possible. So, if you missed out yesterday, keep an eye on the newsletters - hopefully we'll be able to offer this again in the very near future. Oh, and sorry about the picture in the description yesterday. It wasn't your fault you couldn't see it - that was my mess up. Ahh, hopefully I'll be doing better today :-) I Love This Program! We may be out of mice (normally I guess that would be a good thing), but we do have the ever popular Microsoft Picture It Publishing (Gold edition) on sale for only $19.97 - with FREE US SHIPPING! This retails for $59.95, so you save over 66%!! You can create greeting cards, e-mail cards, calendars, newsletters, web pages, invitations, announcements, labels, animated greetings, business cards, flyers, signs, stationary, T-shirts, stickers, web photo albums, party sets, recipe cards, awards, certificates, banners, and tons more. (whew) The thing includes over 12,000 different templates! You can use your own photos or choose from over 150,000 different clipart images that are included with the package! You don't need to worry about finding that perfect image anymore! This also includes powerful photo editing tools. Remove red-eye, cut people out of photos and put them somewhere else (very cool feature), adjust brightness / contrast, add frames to your photos, turn color to B&W, and choose from 150 different special effects that turn your photos into fine art prints! Oh, you can even print multiple photos on a single page (we've had a lot of requests for that). Putting a project together couldn't be easier. Just choose the type of project you want, then follow the step by step prompts - super easy. Oh, it also features helpful little movies that show you how to do basic operations. Regular help files are good, but learning by watching is best! I could go on and on about this one, but since the web site has so much info, I'm just going to encourage you to go check it out. Here's the link: http://www.worldstart.com/store/pictureitpublishing.htm Don't miss out - Quantities are very limited and this is always a fast seller!
Q: A: Right-click a blank area on the desktop and select Properties from the resulting menu. Hit the Appearance tab and you'll see a drop box labeled "Windows and buttons." Select "Windows Classic Style" from that box, hit OK and in a few seconds things will be back to looking like they used to.
Personally, I kind of like the new look, but to each their own I guess. --Steve Have
a question for the newsletter? Submit it at the link below: Snapping Screen Shots I get questions on an almost daily basis asking how we do our screen shots. So, here ya go! Ever wish you could make a "snapshot" of your screen? If you have some imaging software (or a good word processor), you can! Here's how: To capture the whole screen, just hit the Print Screen button on your keyboard (It is just to the right of the F12 key). Here's a shot of my (messy) desktop:
Then, open your imaging software (and a blank page, if you need to - it will depend on your software) and select your "Paste" command (usually Ctrl+V). This should paste an image of your computer screen into the document you're working on. You can also paste the image into a word processing program like MS Word or WordPerfect if you don't have imaging software. If you would like to capture only the current window, hold down the ALT button while you press the Print Screen button. --Steve P. S. If you like my desktop image, you can download it from the Free Wallpaper section of our website at http://www.worldstart.com/software.htm. Have

Watch the Appaloosas in their barn. These beautiful animals are quite a sight to see. You can even replay the birth of the little filly and watch the little one's first steps. The camera is updated every 20 seconds. http://www.appaloosa.org/livefoal.html Do
