Q: A: Let's say you're filling out an online registration form that asks for your country. If you live in Australia, you're all set since your country is towards the top. But what if you live here in the US? You have to scroll through tons of countries (many of which you've never heard of) to get to the entry for "United States." Well, here's a quicker way. When you get to the box, click the first letter of the item you're hunting for. You'll find that items beginning with that letter start popping up in the drop box. So, when you get to the box, just hit the letter "U" until "United States" comes up. No more scrolling! ~ Steve Have
a question for the newsletter? Submit it at the link below: Using A Word Processor To Get Rid Of Forward Brackets Do you ever get an e-mail forwarded to you which has all those annoying >> marks in front of each line? There's an easy way to eliminate these marks when you copy the message to a word processor such as Microsoft's WordPad (which comes with all Windows versions). Following is a partial e-mail message which was forwarded to me: > >Jake, the rancher,
went one day to fix a distant fence. > > > > > >As he pounded the last staples in and gathered tools to go, > >The temperature had fallen, the wind and snow began to blow. > > > >When he finally reached his pickup, he felt a heavy heart. > > >From the sound of that ignition, he knew it wouldn't start. > > Copy this mess into WordPad (Found under the Start button, Program Files, Accessories) and press the Ctrl+H keys on your keyboard to bring up the Replace box. (This is a shortcut to the Replace option found in the Edit menu.) In the "Find What" box, put > (found on the period key) and check the Match Case box. Leave the "Replace With" box empty.
Then select Replace All. All the ">>" marks will be gone! Hit Cancel to close the Replace box and continue editing the document. ~ Jim Christoffersen Have

Challenge your brain by taking this brief test. C'mon, test yourself... Go on - it’s easy, just follow the link. The instructions tell you to click on the color of the word - NOT the word. You have 4 seconds per screen making this a fast test. There are 8 screens and boy do they breeze by. This may seem easy but it's not. My score is usually 75%, but I got 100% once. Go on give it a try, test your brain. http://www.humorsphere.com/fun/colortest.swf Do
