We've finally done it! We finally have our new ISP service up and running. OK, it's been up and running for a month or so now, but we just recently made the custom homepage part fully operational. So, now we can officially launch our new ISP :-) We are offering a premium dial-up service that includes all of the following:
As you can see, we offer a lot, but what we're most proud of is our 35 category, customizable filter. It can protect you from sites dealing with porn, drugs, illegal activities, violence, murder, profanity, plus 29 other types. The cool thing is that YOU get to pick which type of sites to allow and which ones not to. See, most filtered ISPs force their choices on you, we don't. In fact, you don't even have to use the filter at all if you don't want to! Oh, and setting the filter is a breeze. You create a separate password for it during the signup process and can go in and add / remove filtered categories whenever you please. It's really easy. As if that weren't enough, we also have a fantastic e-mail system for you! First off, it has a built in virus filter that keeps virus infected e-mails from ever getting to you. That in and of itself is enough for many people to switch! However, we have also added a customizable spam filter (by Postini)! It automatically blocks most spam, but if something gets through that you don't want, you can tell it to block that e-mail from now on. On the other hand, if it's blocking something you do want, a couple of quick clicks allows you to receive those messages! It's great! The price for all this? Only $18.97 a month! Most ISPs charge you more and deliver much less. Find out how great dail-up can really be! Head to the link below and check it out for yourself. You'll be gald you did :-) PS - Keep your family safe online! Sign up today :-)

Do you keep all of your contacts in the address book of your web-based email? What happens if you switch to a new ISP and you want to take your friends along? There is, of course, the tedious method of printing out your address book and re-entering all the info, but I like to save time whenever I can. Many web-based email address books have the option to import/export contacts into an Outlook (.CVS) or Netscape (LDIF) address book file. But if yours does not, or if you are migrating to another web-based email, here is an easy little trick. NOTE: Since every web-based email site is unique, these general procedures may need modification. Go to the address book of your web-based email account. Choose all of your personal contacts as the recipient of an email then click COMPOSE.
Highlight and CUT (CTRL+X) addresses from the TO box, then PASTE (CTLR+V) into body of the email. Put each address on its own line (in other words, delete the commas and hit ENTER). Change the recipient to your NEW email address and you are ready to SEND. Seconds later you will receive an email containing all of your contact email addresses. There are as many ways of transferring these addresses as there are programs and web-based email sites. In Outlook / Outlook Express, you can just right click each address and add to your new address book.
You may need to play around to find out how to add contacts from the body of an email to your new web-based email address book. You might need to copy each address from the body of the email then paste into the address book. Whatever the process, at least you have the address list to work with. ~David Have

A photo gallery, gasp, no not a photo gallery - where are the computer tricks? Well they are of a different variety, check out the pictures and the captions. Randomly I choose the picture of the floppy disk. The caption for that one reads "Here's another 'floppy drive won't read...' problem. Note the disk label. Note the label sealing the disk's protective access cover shut. His Quicken data should be quite safe." A gallery that is finally computer funny, it makes you feel better about those silly mistakes. The knowledge that other people are making them too always makes me feel better. http://www.shelleyphoto.com/stupid/index.html Do
