Clipart Mania!

We had a tremendous response to our Clickart 250,000 Premier Image Pack yesterday! Thanks to all who ordered!

If you want to join the hundreds who took advantage of this incredible deal, there's still time (thanks to a little begging with our suppliers yesterday :-)

Again, this features 210,000 graphics, 50,000 photos / fine art images, 1000 fonts, a fantastic search engine, a handy little clipart editor, and PrintMaster Express!

ClickArt has long been one of my favorite choices for artwork. It was my first clipart collection and I continue to buy their titles. It's a great system and the images are excellent.

The best thing about this deal is the price. This is a current title and can be purchased elsewhere for $28-$40. With us, your cost is only $18.97 and if you live in the US shipping is FREE! (See why we sold so many?) Get to the link below ASAP if you want to get in on this deal:

PS - We're not sure how many more of these we can get at this price, so order today!

Computers 101

Q:
What (and where) is the Desktop on my computer?

A:
Many of the tips in this newsletter will refer to the Windows Desktop.

The Desktop, basically, is where all your icons live (stuff like the Recycle Bin sit on the Desktop).

It's the "background" area you see when your computer first boots up before you run any programs.

Tip of the Day

Pull the Arrows Out of Your Shortcuts

Many of you keep asking me how to remove those little arrows you see on your desktop shortcuts. They sure can take away from the visual aesthetics of the icons.

OK, there are actually two easy ways to get rid of the little arrows that attach themselves to shortcuts. The easiest of the two is to select a size of 30 for your desktop icons (I've heard this doesn't work on 2nd edition Win98 machines and if you have XP, skip to the next method). Here's how:

1. Right-click the desktop and select Properties.
2. Select the Appearance tab
3. From the drop down box labeled "Item" select "Icon"
4. Change the size from 32 to 30 The little arrows are gone!

OK, here's the second way (and probably the better way)—If you have "Tweak UI" software installed, you can control remove the arrows from there.

To download Tweak UI for Windows 95, 98, ME, NT & 2000 click HERE

Windows XP users can download Tweak UI and other MS Powertoys HERE

Here's what you do:

1. Click Start, Settings, Control Panel, and open the Tweak UI icon
2. Click the Explorer tab
3. The first section is for shortcut overlay. Select the "none" radio button and click "OK"

That's it! No more arrows :-)

Amanda's Cool Site of the Day

Arseiam

Do you like strange visual effects and different type of graphics? I do, they're neat and imaginative and make you think.

This site is full of them, and I mean full of them. Better yet, they are interactive, so you can play with them and control the contour and speed. For those of you who are web masters, you can get the source code so you can add these wild graphics to your page, shifting contours and all.

With over 30 graphics to look and play with you will be here a while, so Enjoy!
