WOW! Trip Mania! A big thanks to the hundreds who took advantage of our Rand McNally Road Atlas deal yesterday! I think the server is still smokin' :-) If you missed out, you'll be glad to know we still have some of these fantastic programs in stock. Again, it's only $14.97 and US shipping is free. Our mail man saw we were selling it and said he had recently purchased the same thing at a "discounted" price of $29.95! He also mentioned that he loves the program and uses on a regular basis - even if it's for just a "wishful" type vacation. Again, this easy to use program takes trip planning to the next level. It plans the best route while minimizing the number of small towns you have to go through. It even gives you excellent drive time estimates (it was within 10 minutes for an 8 hour trip I took last summer). I still think the best part has to be the Nearby Attractions feature. Just tell the program what types of attractions you're interested in and it displays a list of everything in the area - and gives you detailed descriptions of each! It includes stuff like golf courses, hotels, parks, historic attractions, skiing, tennis, kids attractions, restaurants, outdoor activities, and more! Incredibly handy! A simple click and it's marked on the map. This is the current version and has a retail value of $49.95. Again, you pay just $14.97 and US shipping is FREE! It's gotta be the cheapest part of your next trip! Here's the link for more info: http://www.worldstart.com/store/road-atlas.htm PS - In case you can't tell, I really like this one :-) If you want in on this deal, get to the site now - before we sell out!
Q: A: From the little screen that pops up, you should be able to adjust your double-click sensitivity. Most of the time you'll see a checkbox that says something like "Make double-clicking easier." I would give more detail, except that many of the newer mice have their own custom screens that pop up when you go to do your adjusting. ~ Steve Have

My, What a Big Mouse You Have! Do you find the standard Windows mouse cursor is a bit too small? If so, you may want to select a larger cursor scheme from your Mouse Properties. Here's how: 1. Hit the Start button, Settings, Control Panel. 2. Open your Mouse icon, then go to the Pointers tab. 3. From here, you should see a drop box labeled "Scheme." You're looking for an item labeled either: Windows Standard (extra large) (system scheme) OR Windows Standard (large) (system scheme)
Either one of those will give you a larger than standard mouse cursor. Depending on the computer and version of Windows, you may find you have a lot of other options, too. Check 'em out, you may find you like certain cursor schemes better than others. Have fun! ~ Steve Have

I know you are sitting there going "what the heck kind of a title is that?" Well, I thought the same thing. Welcome to a site about medieval recipes for your 21st century kitchen. This one is definitely a keeper. There are tons of recipes on this site, from medieval to renaissance cooking, and little something thrown in for you gentlemen chefs. You definitely want to check out the section "A Word from the Cook" to get up-to-date info and current news on the site and the cook. I’m off to the kitchen now to make dowcetts (A delicious sounding tart!) . http://www.godecookery.com/godeboke/godeboke.htm Do
