PrintShop for $8.97? Is That A Typo? We have an absolutely incredible deal for you this week. We have PrintShop 15 Select for just $8.97! The "select" part means that it's the current PrintShop 15 without as much clipart - although it still comes with access to over 100,000 images! Why pay $50.00 for the regular version, when you can get the same thing (less a little clipart) for $8.97? What can it do? Pretty much anything you can think of! Here's a small sampling:
Or start your own project from scratch! With all that, you can see why it's the #1 selling print software! It's incredibly easy to use, has a ton of flexibility, and is extremely user friendly. In fact, most projects can be completed with a just a few mouse clicks using the built in wizard, or you can do them from scratch. I know it's one of the easiest "print" type programs I've ever used (and I've used a lot). Oh, it also includes over 100,000 images (8000 on CD + 102,000 online), 7000 templates (1000 on CD, 6000 online), an integrated address book, reminders to send cards, tons of ready to use projects, an awesome mail manager (for printing labels, cards, etc), a fantastic photo organizer, a spell checker, and lots more. It can even be used with your scanner to import photos directly into the program (yes, you can use pictures off your hard drive too). It has an impressive photo editor built in that's just as easy to use as the rest of the program. This photo editor allows you to remove red-eye (yeah!), enhance brightness / contrast, crop, adjust color, sharpen, clone, fix flaws, do touch ups, and more! And best of all, it's super easy to use. (Just think, no more fighting with hard to use photo editing software!) I could go on for another 10 paragraphs or so, but I think you get the idea. This is one of the best publishing programs on the planet! Very highly recommend by myself and just about anyone who's ever used it! Normally, you would have to fork over $50.00 for this - still a heck of a deal. However, if you can "settle" for 100,000+ graphics, you can get this for $8.97, with free US shipping. Why go the extra $$? Besides, there are tons of free clipart sites all over the 'net if you don't feel 100,000 images are going to be adequate. As always, there is a limited supply of these and once they're gone, you're stuck with the $50.00 option. If you want to get in on this deal, head to the site right now: http://www.worldstart.com/store/printshop-select-15.htm PS - For $8.97, how can you go wrong? That said, we're expecting a huge response to this one - get to the site early if you want yours!! Remember, if you don't like it, send it back within 30 days for a refund!
Q: A: Well, if you just remove it from your system you might run into trouble. This is part of Microsoft's "make it an 'integrated' part of Windows to get around the legal stuff" tactic. So just do the next best thingdisable it. Here's what you do... Open the Windows Messenger and go to Tools / Options and select the "Preferences" tab.
Un-check the boxes marked "Run this program when Windows starts" and "Run this program in the background". Click OK, then close the program. That should do it. No more annoying Windows Messenger pop-up when you turn on your computer! Also, if you ever do decide to get in on the IM craze, you still have the program on your system. ~ David Have

Windows Searches Do you have a particular folder you're always rummaging through? Maybe your "My Documents" folder? Well, do I have a trick for you! As you probably know (or will know here in a second), if you right-click a folder and select Find or Search, you'll get a Find (or search) box that is automatically set to look in the folder you were just right-clicking.
So, if you try this with your My Documents folder, you'll get a search or find box with the "look in" area already set to My Documents.
Well, let's take that to the next level by putting shortcuts on your Desktop for folders you search through a lot. That way, you can do the trick above without hunting around through Explorer or My Computer. Just right-click the shortcut and you can select Search or Find from there. How? It's easy: We'll pretend you have a folder in My Documents called "Work." Here's how you would set up this trick: 1. Open Explorer or My Computer. Head to the folder you want to make a shortcut to. In this case, "My Documents\Work." 2. Right-click, hold and drag the folder to your Desktop. When you release the folder, you'll get a little menu with several options. Choose "Create Shortcuts Here."
That's it! You should have a shortcut on your Desktop for your "Work" folder. Just right-click it and select either Find or Search from the resulting menu. Cool huh? Of course, you can double-click this shortcut to jump directly into the folder. ~ Steve Have
