Office XP Users - Here's A Must Have! We are selling tons of the Learn Office XP program we offered yesterday! Wow - thanks to all who ordered! (There are more people using Office XP than I thought!) If you missed out, here's another chance. This excellent 6 CD set uses video examples to teach you Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access and more. These videos are very easy to understand and present topics in an easy to follow, step by step fashion. Even if you've never used MS Office before, they'll have you running it like a pro in no time! They are free of confusing computer jargon and are presented in everyday language. If you find MS Office XP intimidating - or if you just want to be more proficient - this is something you should really try. The price on this software is fantastic - Only $14.97 ($39.95 retail) and US shipping is FREE! Considering the expense of Office XP, isn't it worth $14.97 to be able to run it better? Take a look at all that this software can do for you: http://www.worldstart.com/store/instant-office-xp.htm Leftovers! No, this isn't about last night's dinner, this is about a few leftover software items. Many of these were items that almost sold out or were set aside for mail orders that never arrived. In any case, they are limited quantity, and you have a shot at 'em: Curtis Surge Protector - Man, this was huge. We mentioned it in a recent article about surge protection and sales were incredible. We purchased the last of them and have 33 left in stock (we sold over 300 so far). Again, these are $24.97. PrintShop 15 Select - OK, this was from earlier this week, but it's almost gone. We have about 88 of these left (out of 1000), so if you missed out, there's still a chance to grab one. They are only $8.97ea. Video CD Maker - This was almost a sell out last week. This program lets you create video CDs from your digital camcorder. We have 12 of these left for $14.97ea. Professor Teaches Win 95/98 - This went over big, but we still ended up with a few leftovers. Again, this software teaches you how to run Windows 95/98 better. We have 73 left (out of 800) for $12.97 ea. Professor Teaches Home & Small Office Networking - This was another big one. We were actually able to get a few more of these, and now have a total of 52 to sell. We sold over 700 of this one, so check it out. That's it! Enjoy the newsletter and your weekend :-)
Q: A: Of course I can just choose not to send the report, but I'm trying to save my clicker finger for more important things like deleting gigabytes of spam that slithers through my message rules. Here's what to do... In the Control Panel, choose "System". Go to the Advanced tab and click "Error Reporting".
In the Error Reporting window, click "Disable error reporting". If you still want to know if an error occurs, then select "But let me know when critical errors occur". There you gonow you can keep your errors to yourself! ~ David Have

Skip The Recycle Bin Every now and then you need to really delete a file. Right now. Well, most people delete the thing, then go to the recycle bin and remove it from there. It works, but there's a better way. Next time you're 100% sure, without a doubt, for certain, that you want to delete a file, hold your Shift key down while you delete. The file will be deletedskipping the Recycle Bin completely. Here I am, right-clicking and deleting a file that was just begging for it. You can't tell, but I'm holding down my Shift key so it bypasses my recycle bin and vanishes into the digital abyss at the center of cyberspace...
Who knew you could wield such power with such a simple key? ~ Steve Have

"The etymology and history of first names," is what this site is about. You can read information on Names, and on Etymology. (The study of the origins of words.) But the best part is to type your first name in the search engine and see what comes up. I did mine to show you what you’ll find out about your name.
