CD Burnin' Adventures We had a terrific response to our Burn & Go offer yesterday! If you missed out, this software makes creating CDs (audio or data) with your CD writer incredibly simple - it's the easiest CD burning software I've ever used, that's for sure! My favorite thing about this program is how easy makes creating a copy of a CD. If you have two CD ROMs (one has to be a writer), you can actually make a direct CD to CD copy. If you only have one CD drive, don't worry. It can copy CDs that way too. Speaking of which, I wanted to tell you how my father was able to use this software yesterday. He was trying to copy a CD using XP's built in CD writing "software" since he's had success with it in the past. He would try to make the copy, but the CD wouldn't work right. After about 5 ruined CDs, he gave up and called me (I'm tech support for my family). I grabbed a copy of Burn & Go from our warehouse and took it over. After a quick installation, we were ready. We selected the CD Copy option and inserted the CD he wanted to copy. Burn & Go temporarily (and automatically) copied the CD contents to his hard drive, then asked us to insert a blank CD. In less than 5 minutes the job was done (the original CD didn't have much data on it, a full CD would have taken longer). We tested the new CD and it worked perfectly. My father just stood their shaking his head. He told me, "You know, I spent at least two hours fighting with Windows XP trying to get it to copy like that. I'm glad you had that software." Another satisfied Burn & Go customer :-) This software also allows you to do a "test" burn, select your burn speed, number of copies, helps prevent burning errors, and more. It also supports 80 minute CDs, and a bunch of different audio formats (MP3, WMA, WAV, AIFF, and CDDA). Plus it has a fantastic CD labeling program built in and comes with 20 labels to get you started! So, if you want to take the hassle out of creating your own CDs, this is for you! It's only $14.97 and shipping is FREE if you live in the US. Check it out (screen shots and all) at: http://www.worldstart.com/store/burngogold.htm PS - A big Thank You to the hundreds who ordered already!
Q: A: When you go to create an email in Outlook Express, click on "View", then check "All Headers".
You should now see "BCC" under "To" and "CC". IF you are composing a new message in Netscape Mail 7, just click the arrow in the "To:" box and a drop-down menu will appear. Choose "Bcc:" to make the address next to it a blind copy.
Do this for every address you want kept secret. As I mention whenever we run a BCC tip, AOL users can put (parenthesis) around addresses in the "Copy to" section of the email. ~David Have

Sorting Out Your Favorites If you use Internet Explorer, you know that your favorites can sometimes get out of hand. Well, here are some tips and tricks you'll appreciate (note that some of these tips will not work with older versions of Internet Explorer): 1. To put your favorites in alphabetical order, right-click any favorite and select "Sort by name" from the resulting menu. All the favorites in that folder will be sorted alphabetically. NOTE: This only works if you click Favorites from the top toolbar, not from the "Favorites" menu on the side (don't ask me why).
2. If you have tons of favorites, you should probably put them in groups using folders. For example, if you love tomato plants, and have bookmarked all 12 internet sites that feature them, you can put all of these favorites into a folder. To create a new folder, click your Favorites menu and select Organize Favorites. A screen will open that lets you create new folders, as well as move around your favorites.
OR Next, open the Favorites folder. Now, right-click the right-hand pane and select New, Folder from the resulting menu. Name the folder and hit Enter. Now just drag & drop the favorites that belong in that folder straight to it. Seems like this would be quicker to me. 3. If you would like to rename one of your favorites, (you know, the one that just says "homepage" or "Untitled document") to something slightly more descriptive, you can do so from that same Organize Favorites screen we mentioned earlier. Open up the Organize favorites screen again, select the favorite you would like to rename, and click the "Rename" button. If you're not sure what the favorite is for, when you click it you'll see that you get a little info in the box on the left, including the URL. If that still doesn't help, double-click the link and Explorer will open the link for you. ~ Steve Have

"Find out why you say what you say!" With a slogan like that it's easy to be lured into this site. "What’s an idiom?" you ask? Well, an idiom is "a manner of speaking that is natural to native speakers of a language." What's this site about? Well, you get a listing of commonly used idioms, click on the idiom you want to know more about and you get the history of it. Example: Absence makes the Heart Grow fonder. Definition: The lack of something increases the desire for it. That's what the phrase means. Its origin comes from Francis Davidson's Poetical Rhapsody, 1602. Also in Thomas Haynes Bayly's (1797-1839) Isle of Beauty: "Absence makes the heart grow fonder, Isle of Beauty, Fare thee well!" Do
