See Your Digital Photos On TV! We have an awesome product for you today! It's Microsoft's TV Photo Viewer and it's just fantastic. It lets you put up to 40 of your digital images on a 3.5 floppy disk, then view them on your TV with the included player! I've already made several disks with 40 different photos on each! It's tons of fun! The best part? It's incredibly easy to work with - it's designed so that everyone in the family can use it - no tech skills required! It has to be one of the most user friendly devices I've ever worked with. Heck, even if you can't get your VCR to stop flashing 12:00, you can still master this one! Look at this simple 3 step process: 1. First, you run the included (very easy to use) software and select the pictures you want on the disk. 2. Next, with the press of a button, the software resizes the images for TV use and copies them to your 3.5 floppy (don't worry, it doesn't mess up the originals). 3. Finally, just pop the 3.5 floppy into the player and watch a slide show right on your TV! What about image quality? Well, this was the part I was a bit skeptical about. After all, 40 images on a disk? Well, no need to worry - we tried this on a variety of different size TVs and the pictures looked great on all of them! Look what else this can do:
Isn't this thing cool? Your price? Just $29.97 and US shipping is FREE! The retail for this is a whopping $79.95, which is actually down from an original MSRP of $150! At $29.97, this is a fantastic deal and one that's sure to go quick. Check out all the details at: http://www.worldstart.com/store/microsoft-tv-photo.htm WARNING - This is another limited quantity item and I strongly (very strongly) suggest you get to the site right away if you want in on this deal. It's almost sure to be a sellout.
The Magic of F2 in MS Word When you go to move text in Word what do you do? Highlight the text to be moved then use the mouse to drag and drop it to a new location? Or, do you highlight the text then use the cut / paste options? Either way it's a lot of steps and for many people it involves removing your hands from the keyboard to use the mouse. Well, for those of you who are always looking for a way to do it "mouse-less" here's a trick for moving your text without leaving the keyboard.
Poof! Selection movedno mouse required.
Quick Click For The Visible Data Only Tip Wellit's been a couple of days since we discussed the Excel copy / paste of visible data only. By now you probably have some idea of how often you may use this one. If you're someone who will use it a lot, and find yourself unhappy with the number of extra steps required, then here's a streamlining solution. You can make a custom button for the whole Go To - Special - Visible Cells process. For those of you who already know how to add custom buttons to the toolbars then most of this is review (except for the location of the command, of course) and for those of you who don'tpay attention, this is a good one! (You can use this process to make a button for any menu command that you frequently use.) The first thing we need to do is to open the "Customize" window. You can get there with the Tools menu, Customize choice -or- Alt, then T then C -or- right click over any toolbar and choose Customize from the bottom of the pop up menu. Once you have the Customize window open you need to go to the Commands tab.
On the left, choose Edit from the Categories list. Then, on the right, choose Select Visible Cells from the Command list. Now that you've found the command left click and hold on the command. While still holding the left mouse button drag the command to a toolbar. When you move over an open toolbar you'll see a vertical line at the place where the button will go. When you have the vertical line where you want your new button, release the mouse and it will appear on the toolbar. (It will be the same 4 box picture you saw in the Customize window.) Finally, click the Close button on the Customize window. Now when you want what's visible, and only what's visible:
