I’m starting you out on the Ask the Doctor (Free Service) tab, because I feel that it is the service most people would come here for. You may have a medical question burning your mind that you just have to ask, well now is your chance, and it doesn’t cost a thing.
How does it work? It is simple! All you have to do is fill out the form with a Title, Your Question, a working e-mail address, your name, and then fill out the optional medical background. While the medical background is optional, please remember that if you want very specific information in the answer to your question that you have to provide as much information as you can. Once you are done filling out the form and reading the terms and agreement, click the
‘I accept, submit’ button.
While the Ask the Doctor (Free Service) section is the cherry on the sundae at this site, there is more to do here than just ask a question. The other sections are:
Home – Here you will find a feature of both the most commonly asked questions, as well as, the most recently asked questions.
Topics A to Z – Don’t want to ask a question but would like to do some research on a medical condition? Well then try out the topics section to see if the topic you are looking into has been covered.
Drugs A to Z – Here you can learn all about the spectrum of pills that are out there, whether they are prescription or non prescription. You’ll find the most commonly searched for on the side menu, but you can view more by selecting the See All Drugs link.
Diet and Fitness – here you can find a plethora of information on diet and fitness. With specific information on all sorts of related topics like calories, body building, eating disorders, and vitamins just to name a few!
Parenting and Pregnancy – here you can find topics pertaining to parenthood and pregnancy. Is there any time in your life where you’d want to be more informed than when you’re getting ready to have a baby? I know I’ve watched my friends turn into information junkies during their pregnancies!
Sex and Beauty – this is where you can search for information on those questions you’re too embarrassed to ask about. It also has great information on plastic surgery and its risks, as well as, things like hair loss, and yeast infections.
