Autoformatting with OpenOffice Calc

Here at Worldstart, we’ve discussed autoformatting in MS Word, but did you know that it can also be done in OpenOffice Calc? Using the Autoformat feature, you can quickly enhance otherwise plain looking spreadsheets.
You start by selecting a group of cells.
Once you’ve selected the cells, go to the Format menu and choose Autoformat.
The Autoformat dialog box will offer choices on the left (you can scroll down for more options). The default format is showing in the center. Make your choice, then click OK and you’re in business.
If you click on the More button in the lower right corner, other options appear.
Here are a couple other examples you can choose.
It’s just that simple.
