I've been trying to figure out how to do this for nearly a year! I am the only user, but still had to log in. I really disliked that, but couldn't figure out how to keep from it. I had gotten it down to just 1 letter for the password, but still had to type it in, and hit enter before the computer would come up. This is so much handier! Thanks again!

Thanks so much for this tip! I will do this tonight. One caution for those who chose to have no password at all: I don't think you can set new restore points without a password. I could be wrong, but that is what I vaguely recall.

Very neat trick! I will do this tonight.
