Are simple and clear instructions available anywhere? Or did I miss them? Thank you.

Belarc Advisor does a great analysis — but no obvious instructions on what to do with it or how to correct errors. I would end with Microsoft Windows Setup/Uninstall stopped working. The one time it did continue I found myself downloading a UniBlue program which completed similar evaluation of my computer. The bigger problem is that a virus was attached to the download. Fortunately Prevx protects my computer (This is not an advertisement or recommendation on my part, I hope). The virus was initiated 5-9-11. It was previously downloaded while downloading a program recommended by Computer Tips 5-10-11. The Uni Blue program was downloaded then with the virus. I am providing this as information. Since it happened twice, it could happen to other subscribers who unwittenly download a program which you did not intend to have downloaded. I also found that since I had previously downloaded UniBlue as a way to speed up my computer, that they charged my credit card $28 which was used with them in the past. Please warn and protect other readers. Thanks, david

I spent a considerable amount of time attempting to download Belarc Advisor, but was unable to complete the download. I have been using it for about four years now and it does a great job of informing me when my computer is not current with my updates. I use it every time I install a new program or add a new piece of hardware. I try to use it once a week so that I know what is going on with my machine.Try it you'll like it.

This has to be the best free program that you’ll ever install on your computer.
