Bodily Maps of Emotions

I ran into images of a body map that showed where emotions appear topographically on the human body. I was super curious to see if I could find the study they were from and with luck found it! Once I found it I knew I wanted to share it with all of you!

When you arrive at the site, you’ll be on the Abstract page. There you can read the Abstract of the project, as well as the project’s Significance. From there you’ll want to use the navigation tabs to get around the site.

The navigation tabs provide the following options: Abstract, Authors & Info, SI, Metrics, as well as two .PDF tabs.

The first .PDF is the full article and a fascinating read. The second .PDF is labeled SI for supplemental information which adds more images at the end of the PDF.

An important thing to note when viewing the .PDFs is that they display in a windowed mode. If you look in the bottom right corner of the page under Access you can switch them into full view with the Show PDF in Full Window link. This makes it much easier to read.

I thought this was a cool article, check it out for yourself today!
