A friend and I go to our library about once each month when they have a book sale. There are very many people there, and several tables set up covered with books, many of them in excellent condition, and of recent issue. We have found dozens of books to buy at very resonable prices, sometimes a large grocery bag for as little as $3.50/bag. Some times $.50/book. Then we exchange the books with each other as we finish reading them, and also take many bvack to donate them for resale again. I have found a great deal of good books, including Stieg Larsson’s trilogy, and very few that I did not like. You should check with your library to see if they have such sales.
