I am really in the mood to re-decorate my living space so that it is more organized and spacious, but I don’t have a lot of cash to put towards it. You know what that means! I started searching for tips to make it easier and cheaper to do!
The Budget Decorating section is divided up into three categories: Budget Window Treatments, Cheap & Chic, and Flea Market Finds. You’ll also notice that there are three tools on the page above them: Decorating Gallery, Color-a-Room, and Decorating Inspiration.
Color-A-Room is by far and away my favorite tool – the others are great for inspiration – but this one lets you play with color, to see what you might like to use in your room. You do have to register with the site to use it (or you can log in with social services you already use like Facebook, Twitter, Google, and Yahoo). When you sign up, just skip the bonus offer for the magazine, and only pick what newsletters you fancy. You’ll notice when the tool loads that you can also try out colors on your home, and check out different window treatments, as well as, build color palettes for the rooms inside your home.
Budget Window Treatments gives you tips on how you can spruce up your windows without spending a lot of cash. Whether it is being inventive in how you decided to hang your curtains up (I love this one!) or in selecting what to make your curtains out of, you are sure to find some great ideas!
Cheap and Chic is my favorite section, because it offers a ton of ideas on how to switch up your space and is pocketbook friendly. You’ll find tips on how to make your own art, make the most of small spaces, and get organization tips that will change the way you live!
Flea Market Finds will give you tips on how to get the best deal at your local flea market or antique show! From how to dress and what to bring, to how to find the best quality for your money – you’ll find lots of great tips here.
I hope this site gives you a ton of inspiration to spruce up your space!
