Thanks for the article. It answered a lot of questions for me I had been working on trying to decide what was needed when I replace this computer. Was having a big debate with myself between laptop and desk top and wasn’t sure the laptop was the best deal for me. Now I feel more certain I do want to stay with the desk top.

This is the second time I’ve read a Worldstart article that said ” The Intel Core series of processors runs DDR2 ram, which increases in multiples of two (two, four, six and eight gigs), while the i7 runs DDR3, which increases in multiples of three.” Somebody needs to do their homework because this is NOT true.
