Buying A New Computer? Download PC Decrapifier

If you’re in the market for a new computer this year and decide to take advantage of some of the holiday specials, you’ll quickly find that they come preloaded with a lot of junk. Everything from trials and limited functionality software to plug-ins, pop-ups and quick launch programs you either don’t need or won’t want.

PC Decrapifier is the one program solution to removing all of that junk quickly from your new laptop or desktop computer. You can download it by clicking here [1] and it’s compatible with PC’s running Windows XP, Windows 7, or Windows 8. Once you install and run the program, you’ll be prompted to create a system restore point, and I HIGHLY recommend you do so. After the restore point is created, you’ll be presented with detected items PC Decrapifier suggests you remove. You can check/un-check the items you want to remove, click next, and follow any uninstall prompts that come up.

Once you’ve removed the suggested items, you’ll be presented with a list of additional items you can remove. This is a great time to look through the list and remove anything you feel you don’t need. I would leave plug-ins alone, along with anything with your PC manufacturer’s name in it, if you don’t know what it does. Check/un-check the programs you want to remove and press next. Be sure to follow any uninstall prompts that come up.

You can read more about PC Decrapifier on their site by clicking here [2].

P.S. I’d highly recommend picking up a good anti-virus/system maintenance program with any new PC. WorldStart offers System Mechanic Pro [3] (which includes System Shield Anti-Virus/Anti-Spyware) at a very reasonable price, ideal for protecting and maintaining your computer for a full year.
