Will the new version of windows (windows 9 or whatever they are going to call it) that is soon to be out be able to be installed inside a windows 7 virtual program? which would make it easier to get rid of if I do not want to keep it and so I don’t tie up a good hard drive?
The next Windows OS will be called Windows 10 and if your computer has the resources you probably will be able to install it as a virtual program. (Although I can’t promise anything since the OS is still in the development phase.) Many people are doing that with the Windows 10 Technical Preview. You could also install it as part of a dual boot. (Assuming your computer has the resources.) I am currently running the Technical Preview in a dual-boot with Windows 7.
The good news is that from what I’ve seen so far, if you have Windows 7, you’ll probably like Windows 10.
