Whether you’re a computer novice or a person who knows all the ins and outs, having a good screen capture program is essential. If you’ve ever tried to use your print screen function to capture images, you know that the quality is rarely what you wish it would be. While searching for a remedy to this situation, I have come across a program called Capture View.

As you can see above, this application launches with a transparent canvas, showing what is on your computer currently. You can re-size the box and move it around to exactly what portion of your screen you want to capture. To capture what is inside the box simply press the Capture Button at the top of your opened window. Once it has been captured, you can save the file to any location, and in many different available formats such as PNG, BMP, JPEG, TIFF, and GIF.

In addition to capturing areas you specify, it will also capture images from other locations. By simply opening the type menu, I was able to capture my entire desktop, shots from running applications, web pages and much much more. Not only would it capture these images, in the case of applications, I didn’t even have to have the windows showing on my desktop. Now how cool is that?

I can assure you that if you are looking for a very easy to use, yet versatile program to capture images from things on your computer, this is the program to use. I personally have never used a program that is easier and more user friendly then this. So what are you waiting for? Go ahead and give it a try. Click here [1] for your free download!
