I don’t know what it is that strikes a cat’s fancy about sleeping in a sink, or playing the bathtub – all four of my cats do it though! So when I ran across this site, I thought I’d share it with you.

Cats love the cool of porcelain. However, that cool also aids in reducing flea activity if the cat has fleas. One summer our short-hair half Siamese was driven crazy with fleas. We didn’t realize it until we found him regularly sleeping in a bathroom sink during the heat of the day. So check out your cat for fleas if that’s a regular hang-out for him. The wretched things aren’t always visible to humans even with short-haired cats.
