When I’m doing research on the Internet, the last thing I want is to deal with more steps than are absolutely required. That means that when I get to the bottom of a search results list, I don’t want to have to click “next” to keep the flow of information going – I just want it to be there.
That’s why today we’re going to learn how to change the number of results that appear when you do a search on Yahoo!
Follow along – it’s easy!
First, log in to your Yahoo! account. Above the Search Box (where it says Web, Images, Local, etc.) you’ll see a More option. Click that, then Preferences at the bottom.
At the bottom of the resulting page, you’ll see options for Display & Layout. Click the Edit button (located to the right).
On this page you’ll see a few choices, but the only one we’re concerned with is the Results per Page drop-down box. Click on it and set it to whatever you’d like. I have mine at 100. When you are done, click Save.
That’s all there is to it! Now, when you do a search, you’ll have up to 100 results that appear on the page! Keep that information flowing!
