Many websites use tiny fonts that are pretty well unreadable. The worst offenders for this seem to be on-line banking sites. How can I enlarge the text to a size where I can read it?
It’s not just age, the number of hours many of us spend staring at a screen these days can make eye strain a real problem. By the end of the day, I’m increasing text size, and I’m nowhere near old. At least, that’s what I keep telling myself!
In Internet Explorer, if you want to make the text larger (or smaller), go to View, Text Size, and then pick the size you’d like. The size currently displayed has a black dot in front of it.
Unfortunately, the necessary encryption and formatting of online banking sites sometimes overrides the IE settings, but this at least helps with the rest of the web!
