If you want to change the link colors to something more pleasing to your eyes, you have come to the right place!
Here’s how:
Open up your Firefox browser. Click on Tools and then Options.

Under the Content tab, click the Colors button.

Click on the blue color boxes to change the link color of Unvisited Links and click on the purple color to change the link color of links you have already visited.

Clicking on those color boxes will bring up a color box palate that allows you to choose from 70 different colors. Imagine that!

By default, links are underlined on Web pages in Firefox. However, if you do not want them underlined, uncheck the box that says Underline links. Once you are satisfied with your color choices, click OK and you are all done. How easy was that?!
Note: You will need to uncheck the box that says Allow pages to choose their own colors, if that’s what you want. However, unfortunately, sometimes the Web site owner’s default Web code will override your custom selections. It works most of the time though, so don’t worry too much!
Below are my changes. Since I like the blue color, I left the blue Unvisited Links intact, but changed the purple color for Visited Links to a salmon color, as you can see:

Bonus Tip
To change your link colors in Internet Explorer, click on Tools, Internet Options.

Then click on Colors (located at the bottom left hand corner of the window).

First, uncheck the Use Windows colors box and then, click on the link color boxes and change the colors as described above.

Click OK and you are all done!
Enjoy your new colors!
