Google Chrome has a new extension that makes like a little easier for those coping with color blindness. It’s called Color Enhancer and it’s available for free from the Chrome Web Store.
The free tool helps those who have have trouble distinguishing between colors by allowing them to adjust the browser until it fits the way they see color.
To get it, go to the Chrome Web Store and look for Color Enhancer or click here. Remember, you have to be using the Chrome browser to do this. Click the Add to Chrome button in the upper right.
You’ll be asked to confirm the add. Click Add.
A notification Window will tell you that Color Enhancer has been added. Click the icon to open.
Tick the Enable box to turn it on.
Once enabled, you are asked to select the row with the stars that look the faintest to you and then adjust the slider until all of the start are visible in the row you have selected.
Then click OK. The browser colors should be optimized for your color perception. Remove the check by enable to turn this extension off.
