Score one for angry users. Chrome is reverting to its old style of bookmark managing after users pitched a fit over the re-design of bookmark manager. The new look was part of a new look for Google products that the company calls “Material Design.” Lots of experts liked this new look:
Lots of users HATED it. They disliked the look, said it was slow and made looking for bookmarks a giant pain. This time consumer complaints worked. The company announced that “for the time being” they were bringing back the old tree-style layout to the Chrome browser, though the new look is still available if you download the Bookmarks manager extension from the Chrome web store.
