Did you know that you can get MS Outlook’s calendar feature to display appointment times on a clock instead of plain old text?
Turn something like this:
Now, while I can see some people not taking a liking to the little clocks on their calendars, I can also imagine the people who absorb information faster with graphic displays liking them a lot.
So, if you’re in that second group and are interested in trying out the clocks, here’s the information you need.
We begin with a right click anywhere in the calendar (not on an appointment). From the menu that opens, choose Other Settings.
When the Format Day/Week/Month View window opens, you’re looking to check the “Show time as clocks” options in the Week and Month sections.
If you keep the “Show end time” option checked, you’ll then get two clocks. The first for the beginning time and the second for the ending time.
Once you’ve made your decisions, click OK.
Voila! It’s as easy as that. With just a few clicks, you too can have clocks instead of text!
