Welcome to Clowdy – an online social media platform that lets you share and discover film, music, and photographs.
On the main page you can check out what Clowdy is all about by watching their 2 minute video on how it works. They show rather seamlessly how you can Upload, Manage, Collaborate, Sell, and Discover film, music, and photography here.
There are two ways you can sign up for Clowdy, can F-connect with Facebook or select to Sign Up Another Way which will have you fill out a traditional registration form. I signed in with Facebook, and the next step was to personalize it by selecting tags I’m interested in, and then following people who might be interesting from within that category. Then click the Show Me Clowdy button. You can also skip with the Or Personalize Later link beneath the Show Me Clowdy button.
If you clicked Show Me Clowdy, you’ll get a tour of the site! Follow the prompts as it shows you how to navigate around the space, and then it will put you on your home page where you’ll find a feed filled with the tags you selected and people you followed (you can unfollow by clicking on the content you want to unfollow and the clicking the follow button until it goes from green (Following) to blue (Follow).
I’m using the site right now mostly to to discover music. A cool feature is that you can create lists if you find specific content that you like. On the content you’ll find a + button. If you click that it will tell you need to create a list, and you’ll type in a name for it and click Create list, then you’ll see that list on the left site of that popup, and you can now click add. Your content will now be saved on that list!
Go check it out for yourself today and see what you can discover!
