Welcome to Convert.Files, where you can convert your files for free!
This file converter is easy to use, and all the information you need is all on one page. You’ll see the converter at the top of the page. Then, if you scroll past the advertisements, you’ll find the Main Features of the converter listed, a handy dandy FAQ, and the list of file types it easily converts.
To use the converter, you’ll need to have a file you want to convert. Click the Browse button to select a local file on your computer, or you can type/paste in the link of the location of your file on the internet. Then, from the drop-down list for input format, you’ll need to select what kind of file it is.
So for our purposes, let’s pretend we want to convert a Word document into a .PDF. First, we’d select our word document from the computer and then select MS Word from the drop- down list for input format. Our next step is to select the output format that we want. We’re going to convert the file into a .PDF, so we’ll select Adobe Portable Document for our output format. All that’s left to do is click the Convert button and let the application do the work!
You can also check the box for Send a Download Link to My E-mail, which will make another text field appear where you can type in your e-mail address. You will then be sent a link to click on for downloading your converted file.
So, you’re probably thinking that this sounds awesome. What’s the catch? Well, you can only convert files up to 250MB. However, that means there are plenty of things you can convert for free. It just rules out huge video files.
This is a great free tool, so go check it out today!
