It’s at this time of year that I start thinking about the upcoming holidays. Going back to my hometown to spend time with my family on Thanksgiving and Christmas and the food I’ll get to eat when I’m there.
Isn’t it amazing how food brings us together? How it stirs memories? One of the things that is fun to think about is dessert. What desserts will there be and what dessert can I bring to the gathering?
For me, cookies come to mind almost immediately, because a tradition in our family is to have Russian Tea Cakes at any holiday gathering. Those are, by far, my favorite cookie of all time!
This year I wanted to find something a little different to bring, since my mom was going to make the Russian Tea Cakes this year, so I started searching for cookie recipes and I ran into this site.
Welcome to Cookie Recipes. You will find all sorts of recipes here and not just for circle cookies, but bar cookies and even brownies too! Are you diabetic or know someone who is? It runs in my family, so I’m always trying to find new diabetic recipes to bring to family gatherings too. Well, you will find a whole listing of diabetic cookie recipes by following the link on the home page.
Do you have a cookie recipe you’d like to share with everyone? Then head over to the Forums where you’ll be able to share recipes and see recipes that were submitted by other people.

Well, after browsing all these recipes, I have a hankering for some cookies, so I’m off to bake!
