Curious

Curious is an amazing learning site! They break learning down to into 30-60 video segments (the entire lesson may be longer) and include interactive features like quizzes throughout so you can gauge your learning. It also offers the opportunity to create your own classes and teach.

I’m so excited to bring this site to you, but I want to start by letting you know that not all the lessons are free. There were so many awesome free ones though that I think it is a fair exchange to share this site with you.  The lessons that are free will be marked so on the thumbnail for the video, if they are paid-for videos you’ll see a coin with a number next to it.

To get started I suggest you watch the Meet Curious video on the main page. It is about a minute  long and gives you a real feel for the variety of lessons available on the site.

One of my favorite features on this site is the Feeling Curious button on the main page. If you click it, you’ll be whisked off to a Lesson Wheel which spins and randomly generates three classes for you to look at, don’t like your options? Click spin again, or use the drop down arrow to select a category to spin within.

You’ll want to enroll to save your progress. You can wait for the site to prompt you to enroll or you can click Sign Up at the top of the screen. Registration is easy! You can easily enroll by F-connecting with Facebook, or you can click the link at the bottom of the sign up pop up that reads Sign Up with Your E-Mail Address. When you sign up they inform you that  a lot of classes are free but some cost money, and you get a sign-up bonus of $20 in starting cash. So you can try out some of the paid classes.

Want to teach? Well then you need to click  the Teach button at the top of the page which will let you check out the Teachers section. You have to apply to teach (click the apply button) and I’d recommend watching the video provided or click the Learn More button to learn how to apply.

This is an amazing learning site, I hope you’ll go check it out and learn something new today!
