You explained how to delete browsing history in Internet Explorer; how is it done in Firefox?
Marie, to clear recent history, it only takes a couple of clicks. Click the Firefox drop-down menu, choose History and then Clear recent history.
To be a little more thorough, simultaneously press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL. You’ll see the window below. Check the items you wish to clear and click Clear Now.
Clearing the cache and cookies can help with display issues you might be having with your web-mail or other sites where things just are showing up correctly.
While we’re at it, here’s a reminder on how to clear the cache and history in Internet Explorer and Google Chrome:
For Internet Explorer press CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE simultaneously. You’ll get the window below. I’d suggest deleting Preserving Favorites Data and deleting Temporary Internet files, Cookies and Website data and History.
For Google Chrome: Press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL simultaneously. You’ll get the window below. You can choose to Clear Browsing History, Empty the cache and Clear Browsing Data.
