Designed to Move

Welcome to Designed to Move, a site that wants to encourage you to put more movement your life and encourage parents to keep their kids active.

When you arrive at the site you’re greeted with buttons to Watch the Video (it’s 1:46 minutes long) or Download the Reports. I’d recommend watching the video to start with and then I’d suggest scrolling down the page to see if you want to download the reports.

As you scroll down the page the site will lay out the Situation (how the world slowed down and stopped moving, why that’s bad, and what the extreme outcome is), then it moves onto the Costs and Consequences of humans slowing down (health problems being just one of the problems), next you’ll discover the Opportunity (what happens if you take advantage of getting more movement in your life), and they round off this information with the Critical Window (how to teach your kids to be active in order to promote more generations of physically active people).

Last but by no mean least is the Take Action section where you can learn about creating positive experiences for kids with physical activity and how you can become more physically active yourself.

At the bottom of the page you’ll find buttons to Download the Report, Learn about Champions, Support Great Programs, and Spread the Word where you can share this page via social media. If you glance down you’ll notice along the bottom there’s also a link their FAQ. I thought it answered a lot of the questions that popped into my head as I was scrolling down the page.
