I don’t know what it is about modern technology, but it seems as though every piece of hardware and software out there wants to know where you are at all times.
It’s like an over-protective mother, I tell ya!
So, if you’re looking for some location privacy (at least in Internet Explorer 9), then here’s how you turn off the geolocation feature.
In Internet Explorer 9, click the Cog icon in the upper right-hand corner and then Internet Options.
Make sure the privacy tab is selected and put a check in the box next to Never allow websites to request your physical location. Click OK.
And there you have it. Now IE9 won’t get all invasive and ask you where you are at all hours of the day.
