Do I need to change My e-mail account from ” Live Mail ” to ” Outlook ” ? If so , how do I do it?
I’m not sure if you’re talking about a your e-mail address for a web-based account or the e-mail client. But either way Victor, you don’t have to switch. The changeover to Outlook.com from other Microsoft accounts like Hotmail, refers to web-based e-mail service, not the Outlook mail client that you install on your computer.
Outlook is an e-mail client – a program that you purchase and install on your computer to download and create e-mail messages. You can use Outlook with any e-mail provider you choose. If you are satisfied with Live Mail, there is certainly no reason to change to Outlook
Outlook.com is a free web-based e-mail service offered by Microsoft. All previous Microsoft web-based accounts (Live Mail, Hot Mail, MSN) were switched to Outlook.com automatically. There’s no need to change your e-mail address.
