My dog Gypsy is making a lot of progress, learning the tricks I’m teaching her, so I went looking for some more. I’ve had a lot of success with these tricks.
You will need a dog clicker and treats to teach most of these tricks. But you can get a clicker for less than three dollars at most pet stores, so don’t let that deter you from giving these a try. Learn more about clicker training here . You can also try to do it by just rewarding the appropriate behavior with a treat, which is how I started with Gypsy.
There are two ways to navigate: you can scroll down the page and view all the tricks at once, or you can use the jump menu at the top of the page. If you notice the words click here next to the title of a trick, you can click it to get more in-depth instruction on how to teach it to your dog. When a trick has more in-depth instructions, you may find an instructional video among the information provided.
Another thing I love is that you can teach your dog one trick a week, which means you’ll have a whole year’s worth of tricks to teach your dog!
